O&TS Rebranding

Rebranding, Identity Design, Art Direction, Culture Development

Overview

Operations & Technical Services (O&TS) is the backbone of NBCUniversal – providing all the behind the scenes services to help the company run and produce and distribute content internationally.  In 2010, O&TS went under new leadership and while it changed it’s name and introduced a new logo, it was never announced to the NBCUniversal community. O&TS just suddenly showed up on business cards, letterheads and Power Point templates yet no one knew who O&TS was. In fact, most O&TS employees were unaware that they were a part of the O&TS group. Simple questions were unclear like: Who is O&TS? What do they do? And most importantly, what value does O&TS add to the organization?
We needed to:
1)  Clearly define who O&TS is to both, NBCUniversal employees and O&TS employees
2)  Establish consistency, unity and value amongst our O&TS teams and with our internal NBCU clients

Role

Collaborated with O&TS President, leadership Team and Corporate Communications team to understand challenges and vision to develop a strategically aligned new visual identity for the O&TS brand.
